JCA "Help Style Me!" Weekly Post

This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this post) says it best, "You know, that thing you bought because you love it and you keep pulling it out and then putting it away without wearing it?"

Please share your J.Crew item (either that you own or are thinking about getting) that you would love help creating an outfit with.

Also, please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel free to include links to your blog (where you incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance! :)

  1. Styling suggestion for the controversial chunky turtleneck sweater up on blog. Also several other current items are reviewed and styled. HTH! And I'd love feedback.

  2. some outfit ideas over at ebelandi.com. Found the pink dot sweater cashmere from few seasons back...also few old pencil skirts and a sweater dress with a shirt underneath.

  3. I have the Cotton-silk Voile Dot Popover (the navy with red dots, item 04399) and I have not worn it since I bought it. It's super sheer and looks big/baggy if it's not tucked.

Any suggestions would be super appreciated, as it's currently just languishing in my closet.

    1. Hi Phoebe! I have this one too. Recently wore it with the navy merino v-neck cardigan, mid-rise Factory cords in tan & plaid Sophie loafers. Have also worn it under a red v-neck sweater with dark denim & navy loafers. If I think of anything else I'll comment back! HTH.

  4. Anyone have polyvore clips for any of the linda dresses (brown and rust corduroy as well as black/navy Italian wool)?

    Thank you!
